Somolu: TechSpark Concludes with Exciting Finale on AI, Drone Technology


The third and final week of TechSpark, an innovative programme organized by the Somolu Local Government, is set to culminate with a thrilling focus on Artificial Intelligence, AI, and Drone Technology.
This week marks the conclusion of the three-week initiative designed to equip young participants with cutting-edge technology skills.

During the first two weeks, participants built a strong foundation in coding and computer literacy. Now, these young innovators will dive into the fascinating world of AI, where they will learn to harness its power to drive innovation and tackle real-world challenges.

Also, they will explore aerial robotics through interactive workshops and hands-on activities with drone technology, gaining first-hand experience in the exciting possibilities of drone missions.

The Special Adviser on ICT to Hon. Abdulhammed Salawu, Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Kola Muhammed, said the programme will not only provide an immersive learning experience but will also test the participants’ skills through a comprehensive assessment.

He said: “This final challenge will allow the young tech enthusiasts to demonstrate their understanding and abilities, showcasing what they’ve learned throughout the course”.

“To celebrate their achievements, each participant will receive a Certificate of Attendance, symbolizing their hard work, dedication, and newly acquired expertise in the realm of technology”.

Muhammed highlighted the importance of this initiative, emphasizing that it provides young minds with an opportunity to explore the limitless possibilities of technology.
