LASU Vice Chancellor Felicitate Muslim Faithful on 2024 Eid-El-Kabir

As the Muslim community celebrates Eid-El-Kabir, the Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, LASU, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, has extended her heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all members of the University community.

“Eid Mubarak!” Professor Olatunji-Bello began her message, expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the blessing of witnessing another Eid-El-Kabir. She highlighted the significance of the festival as “a day of rejoicing and bliss, a day of blessing and peace, a day to reflect and ponder, and a day to celebrate together.”

The Vice Chancellor prayed for Allah’s mercy to forgive sins and bestow blessings upon everyone. She wished that Allah would illuminate their paths with happiness, peace, and success. Drawing from the story of Prophet Ibrahim, she hoped that Allah would replace bitterness with joy, fill hearts with gratitude, and shower lives with countless blessings.

Professor Olatunji-Bello also called on the University community to foster positive relationships, support good deeds, discourage evil, and contribute to the growth of LASU, Lagos State, and the nation as a whole.

She concluded her message with a prayer for continued health, peace, and prosperity for all.

“Once again, Eid Mubarak! We Are LASU, We Are Great!” she declared.
