Lagos Police Marks 2026 Customer Service Week with Free Medical Outreach

The Lagos State Police Command has taken free medical services to traders, workers and other members of the public at Computer Village, Ikeja, as part of activities marking the 2026 Customer Service Week.

The medical outreach, held on October 7 at Computer Village Under Bridge, provided free health screening, blood pressure and blood sugar checks, eye examinations, medical consultations and health counselling.

The initiative was organised in line with the directive of the Inspector General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, and was held under the theme “Going Extra Miles.”

The Command said the outreach was aimed at strengthening police-community relations and improving service delivery through direct engagement with members of the public.

Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Tijani Fatai, appreciated residents, business owners, community leaders and other stakeholders for their cooperation in maintaining peace and security across the state.

Fatai said effective policing depended on public cooperation and feedback, urging residents to provide constructive criticism, complaints and suggestions on the Command’s services.

He said such feedback would help strengthen accountability, professionalism and public confidence in the Police.

The Commissioner reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to serving residents with dedication, courtesy and professionalism while remaining responsive to public concerns.
