Dongfeng Motors Donates Five Vehicles to LSSTF, Pledges 10 Before Year-End

Dongfeng Motors of China has donated five additional pickup vehicles to the Lagos State Security Trust Fund, LSSTF, bringing its total contribution to six vehicles and strengthening its support for security operations across Lagos State.

The latest donation was delivered by the Commercial Manager of Dongfeng Motors in China, Mrs. Tina, and received by the Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayodele Ogunsan, who will facilitate the official handover of the vehicles to the Fund at Dongfeng Motors’ Lagos showroom.

The latest contribution builds on an earlier vehicle donated by the automobile manufacturer on February 6, 2026, bringing the company’s total donations to six vehicles so far.

Dongfeng Motors also pledged to increase its contribution to 10 vehicles before the end of 2026, further deepening its partnership with the security fund.

Receiving the vehicles, Ogunsan commended Dongfeng Motors for its consistent support towards strengthening safety and security in Lagos, assuring the company of his commitment to promoting its business interests in the state.

The intervention is expected to improve the mobility of security personnel, strengthen patrol operations and enhance response to emerging security threats across the state.

The donation also forms part of LSSTF’s broader efforts to support security agencies with operational logistics, equipment and capacity-building initiatives.

The partnership underscores the growing role of strategic private-sector and international partnerships in strengthening Lagos’ security architecture and providing security agencies with the operational assets required to protect lives, property and critical economic activities across the state.
