ỌMỌ eKÓH Coordinators Hold Inaugural Meeting, Pledge Grassroots Mobilisation for Hamzat

Coordinators of the ỌMỌ eKÓH Movement have held their inaugural meeting, bringing together representatives from all Local Government Areas and Local Council Development Areas across Lagos State to outline the group’s vision and strategies for grassroots engagement.

The meeting focused on strengthening the movement’s organisational structure, improving coordination among members, and expanding its presence across communities and wards in the state.

Participants reaffirmed their commitment to building what they described as an inclusive, people-driven platform aimed at encouraging community participation and grassroots political engagement.

A key highlight of the meeting was the coordinators’ pledge to intensify mobilisation efforts in support of Kadri Obafemi Hamzat ahead of the 2027 governorship election.

The coordinators expressed confidence in Hamzat’s leadership credentials and commitment to the development of Lagos State, promising to take the movement’s message to every part of the state to galvanise support at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the meeting, Convener of the ỌMỌ eKÓH Movement, Imran Hamzat, urged members to remain committed to the objectives of the movement and to actively engage residents within their respective communities.

He emphasised that the success of the movement would depend on the dedication, unity, and hard work of its coordinators across the state.

The meeting ended with a renewed commitment by participants to strengthen the movement’s grassroots network and advance its mobilisation efforts across Lagos.
