The Lagos State Neighborhood Safety Agency, LNSA has expressed it commitment to the rule of law, highlighting the importance of coordinated efforts between security agencies and the legal profession for effective neighborhood policing.
General Manager of LNSA, Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, stated this when he welcomed the delegation of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA Ikeja Branch in a bid to strengthen collaboration and enhance community safety across Lagos State.
Dr. Oyekan, who is also a lawyer and member of the NBA, expressed appreciation for the visit.
The NBA delegation was led by Chairman Adeniyi Quadri Esq., who commended LNSA for its role in maintaining peace and order. He reiterated the Association’s support for initiatives that promote justice, human rights, and overall community security.
“As one of our own, the NBA Ikeja Branch counts on the support and assistance the Agency can render to completely rid the court’s premises of these miscreants,” Quadri said, stressing the need to safeguard public safety and protect the image of the legal profession.
The courtesy visit concluded with both parties committing to sustained collaboration to ensure a safer and more secure Lagos State.
