Gtext Marks 10 Years of Real Estate Excellence, Unveils Future Plans

Gtext Homes and Gtext Lands, subsidiaries of Gtext Holdings, marked a significant milestone, their 10th anniversary, in a grand celebration attended by notable dignitaries, loyal customers, and major stakeholders in the real estate sector.

The founder, Dr Stephen Akintayo said the company has its presence in several countries, including Nigeria, the UK, the US, and Dubai.

Akintayo said the company has diversified interest in different sectors, including housing, education, healthcare, and retail and attributed the company’s success to its ability to adapt and innovate.

According to him, Gtext Holdings began as a digital marketing firm 17 years ago and ventured into real estate 10 years ago with a partnership involving 250 acres of land in Ikorodu, Lagos.

“We thank God for his faithfulness. We started with a dream, and today, we’ve achieved more than we ever thought possible.

“The company’s growth has been remarkable, with over 30 locations in Nigeria and a presence in several countries.

“Our goal is to build 25,000 houses in Africa in the next 10 years,” he said.

Mrs Bukola Lukan, the Group Chief Operating Officer of Gtext Holdings, highlighted the importance of teamwork and customer relationships.

“It’s been a beautiful journey, the founder had a dream, which has been running ever since then and still running to ensure that the dream comes to reality and a part of it is what we’ve seen today.”

Lukan emphasised the company’s commitment to building strong relationships with its clients and partners.

“Relationships with our vendors, with our clients, with a lot of industries as well, is very important to us.’

Zaaki Azzay, a client of Gtext Holdings, praised Akintayo’s entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to giving back to the community.

“Akintayo is a very God-fearing person who rose from grass to greatness, considering his humble background to what he has achieved so far,” he said.

Azzay commended the company’s efforts in providing training and skills acquisition programmes for young people.

“The school in Epe for artisans is almost at a free cost.”

The highpoint of the event was the presentation of gift prizes as a token of appreciation to customers, including laptops, iPhones, deep freezers, access to Stephen Akintayo University (SAU), and expense-paid trips to notable destinations.
