BIGI, FEARLESS TAKE CAMPUS TALENT HUNT TO YABATECH

Bigi Carbonated Soft Drink and Fearless Energy Drink, brands of Rite Foods Limited, are set to take their campus talent and entertainment initiative to Yaba College of Technology, YABATECH from September 15 to 17, 2026, with a ₦1 million prize up for grabs in a music competition.

The three-day engagement, organised under the Soundcity OnTour platform, will combine campus activations, talent competitions and a concert aimed at giving students opportunities to showcase their musical and creative abilities.

The Bigi Music Competition will be held on the second day, with the winner emerging as the YABATECH campus champion and receiving ₦1 million.

The standout performer will also proceed to the national stage, where the competition will provide further opportunities for exposure and development, according to the organisers.

The programme will also feature the Fearless Dance Challenge, giving students an opportunity to compete and showcase their dance talents as part of the campus activation.

The engagement will begin with campus activities designed to build anticipation before the talent competitions and conclude with the Soundcity OnTour concert on the final day.

Head of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability, Rite Foods Limited, Ekuma Eze, said the brands were focused on creating platforms that would enable young Nigerians to express their creativity and connect with opportunities.

“Young people are not waiting for culture to happen; they are creating it every day,” Eze said.

He said Bigi and Fearless sought to provide platforms where young people could express themselves, discover their abilities and connect with opportunities beyond their immediate environment.

The YABATECH activation is part of the brands’ ongoing campus entertainment engagements through Soundcity OnTour, combining music, talent discovery and student participation.

The final-day concert will feature musical performances and entertainment as the three-day campus programme comes to an end.
